Best Out of Waste Initiative
Shri Ramdev School, Gudahmansingha Village, Rajasthan
In the scorching heat of June, life in Rajasthan often becomes challenging. To help ease this hardship, Dhaara organized an engaging activity at Shri Ramdev School in the village of Gudahmansingha, implemented by a team of volunteers. The initiative introduced students to the idea of "best out of waste" by teaching them to create motor-operated fans. Each child was provided with a motor, battery, wooden panel, wires, and small solar panel pieces, and was guided in assembling the fan. The blades were crafted from repurposed plastic bottles materials easily available in every household.
For many students, this was their first experience with activity-based learning. The hands-on approach not only sparked curiosity but also encouraged them to think creatively and explore innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
